My Wife
I'm so impressed with Tasha. She has been working incredibly hard since finishing work a week ago. If I was a better husband, I'd try stop my pregnant wife from working so hard, but she's pacing herself well and seems very motivated. We are sorting all our belongings ready to sell, ship or scrap and Tasha has single-handedly sorted almost everything. (In case you are wondering, I haven't been sat on the rocking chair, barking orders! I've been continually renovating!!!)
We're leaving all our furniture behind, along with most of my powertools (I could cry!). We're hoping to sell some of it to pay for our flights, but a lot will just go to the thrift stores or donated to friends.
As for renovating, the end is in sight and we're hoping to have the house on the market by next week. Please pray for a fast sale at a good price!
The most exciting part of our week was Tuesday, when we got to see our little baby wriggling and yawning on the ultrasound screen. We have a couple of photos, which I will try post tonight. We will also find out in a few hours whether we are having a boy or a girl. Maybe you don't want to know, so perhaps we wont post the outcome on the blog! When Tasha was pregnant with Gabe, I felt like I just knew it was a boy. I had a 50/50 chance of being right, but I was quite certain, even during the first few weeks of the pregnancy. This time, I'm not so sure. I know for sure I wont be disappointed either way.
Check back later for the ultrasound photos.
