Welcome to our home

I just wanted to post some pictures of our home. We've been making changes to try and fit extra baby stuff in. Those of you who haven't had the opportunity to visit our apartment can have a sneak preview before baby comes. There are a few changes we still want to make, but we're almost there now and i'm sure you guys would love to see what we've done.

This is what you see when you walk through the front door. Just out of sight is an opening on the left to the living room. The kitchen is through the first visible opening on the left and also goes through to the living room. The bathroom is the first closed door off the hallway on the left. The bedroom is the last door on the left. The store-room is at the end of the hallway.

Here's the living room. The whole thing is open-plan to the dining room, computer area and an open-sided loft looks out over the room. It's very nice! (By the way, the cat isn't ours. It's our friends' cat; Madison, which we were cat-sitting for a week!)

The next two pictures show the view from the windowed side of the living room, looking toward the front door and kitchen. You can see the loft overlooking the room in the first photo. We haven't done any decorating or furnishing up there yet, but there is a double-sized futon, for our guests!

...And here's a look at our simple but ample walk-through kitchen. There's more cupboards and the stove, fridge, etc on the opposite wall.
